Kodak Easyshare C513 Digital Camera

Product Review

I bought this camera right after my old Kodak bit the dust. Saw it on the Kodak Shop for 79.99 and was thrilled, by the price and features. It was less costly than my old camera, but five megapixels rather of 4, had optical zoom, along with a bunch of various settings. I was sold! Not merely did it take over a month to ship (this was the Kodak Store, not Amazon), but when I got it, I discovered it did not work. The camera is possessed. Occasionally it’ll turn on and remain on, but generally as soon as the energy button is pressed, it shuts itself appropriate back off. If it even turns on within the very first location. This is precisely what happened to my last camera. I’m sending it back, and hopefully will obtain a new/fixed camera, but my hopes aren’t high. You take your chances with this camera, and with Kodak products in general. It’s a great price, but bear in mind you get what you pay for (and sometimes much less). (Review More…)

Polaroid CAA-330UC 3.0 Megapixel Digital Camera with 1.5-inch LCD Display (Plum)

Product Review

You could get a considerably better camera for $60-80, but I wanted the cheapest “adult looking” simple-to-use camera for my kid in case he lost or broke it as it’s his very first digital camera. It takes decent photos and video, better than his telephone. Straightforward interface he figured out w/o the manual. Should you do not have a card reader, then the usb cable option works fine. For XP and above, you do not want any SW driver. If he gets into taking photos, then I’ll get him yet another camera with optical zoom and far more advanced functions. (Read More…)
